Why We...Machine Wrap Our Sisal: We glue our sisal directly to the wood post. By using our special machine we get a tighter winding of the rope. Our dual process of machine winding and gluing directly to the pole is why our sisal doesn't gap or pucker. A poorly wrapped post won't make it through our quality control. The glue we use is non-toxic and safe. Why We...Use "Such Wide Bases": When we started this years ago our biggest special orders were for trees that would hold up to big cats, like Maine Coons. When a 15-20 pound cat jumps on their tree it needs to be stable and give the cat a sense of security, or the tree will be ignored.
